Model data plotted with observation data
All data are retrieved from OPeNDAP servers to assess the availability of distributed datasets for ocean observing systems.
Status Update May 31, 2007: Observational data are still being plotted. NAM output is sporadically available. ADCIRC model output data are not available for these maps until computer hardware issues are resolved here at UNC.
HYCOM output is now available on a new server from FSU. QUODDY output are not available until processes are restructured here at UNC and HYCOM output is not too stale.
Current planning: We anticipate getting ADCIRC and QUODDY back on the plots the week of June 4, 2007.
