The first two days will be SEACOOS-related meetings, including the new application teams. The last day and a half will be devoted to SECOORA business planning.
The goals for the SEACOOS 2005 Summer Workshop are to review and discuss the program status and to foster a scientific dialog on regional information needs in three applications areas :
- Search and Rescue, spill response, and related applications;
- Regional fisheries management, and
- Regional directional wave/sediment transport applications
Day 1 of the workshop will focus on the recent External Evaluation of the SEACOOS program and SEACOOS Working Group activities.
Day 2 will focus on the applications listed above. The latter will serve as a lead in to the SECOORA workshop and business plan review.
